Jamilex Forty Casanova born in Puerto Rico raised state side. Spent most of her childhood traveling but has spent much of her adolescence in Washington DC and Maryland where she found her love for education. She’s worked in youth development the past 2 1/2 years but has done mentoring and tutoring the past 5-6 years. Jamilex received her bachelors in Political Science and is currently working towards her Masters of Art and Teaching at Trinity College in Dc. Her hope for the new year is to help students reach their academic goals and run Latinx student affinity group.
