19 11th graders had a great visit to Martha’s Table yesterday to support their efforts to provide healthy and accessible meals and food staples to community members. Students earned service hours as they made 350 cornbread muffins, trail mix bags, and helped at the Commons grocery market. Thank you to the Martha’s Table staff for welcoming us, and the chance to learn about all your endeavors! It was wonderful to work together and we look forward to future collaboration. #thrive #sisterhood #scholarship #service #safety #lead #learn #trailblazer #becauseyoumatter

Classrooms Highlights! Ms. Rhee’s US History class has been working on understanding the United States’ founding documents (the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights). Today, students presented to one another on Constitutional Principles (what values are written into the Constitution). Students are preparing to deliver Constitutional Convention speeches where they will compare the US’s stated values to its reality, and they will propose ideas for how to help the US live up to its ideals. #sisterhood #scholarship #service #safety #lead #learn #trailblazer #becauseyoumatter #IBO #socialstudies
