Your Safety Matters
At Girls Global Academy, health and safety are important and we want to take the necessary precautions to ensure that we uphold our Safety pillar. We are located at 733 Eighth Street NW and our staff will be teleworking. We will not be hosting any building tours from March 16 – March 31. Although this may disrupt some of our plans to host our families, we will continue the work of our mission.
Should GGA have uniforms?
Why Girls' Schools?

She will be Heard
Our small school community is about supporting agency, voice and choice. She will be a part of a sisterhood that empowers her to be heard.
She will be a Leader
Our program develops confident leaders who believe they can succeed. She will engage in service learning projects to develop her passions.
She will be Safe
Our #1 priority is keeping her safe. She will be in a safe learning environment where she can be who she is supposed to be - herself.

Let’s Start Your Education!
Our program is designed with the particular needs of girls with readiness and interest as paramount; as a result, it will positively impact all girls. The combination of rigorous academics – with focuses in engineering and business – and supportive community are critical to outcomes for girls. Research suggests that all-girls education positively impacts students’ transitions to college and enhances self-esteem. Girls’ school graduates are also three times more likely to consider engineering careers and six times more likely to consider majoring in math, science and technology than peers from coed schools.

About Our Leadership
“Miss Swift made sure to challenge us, as students, while also ensuring that we knew just how much faith she had in us to excel. This fine balance is what makes her students grow and stand out. It allows students to excel, despite adversities and moments of self-doubt. Seldom will you find an educator, like Miss Swift, who succeeds at maintaining such an environment.” - Jessica Nolasco, Student
