Introducing TeeJ Mercer, our esteemed keynote speaker at the GGA’s 4th Annual Sisterhood Summit.

TeeJ Mercer, a storytelling virtuoso since childhood, uncovered her superpower at an early age. With nearly three decades of Hollywood expertise under her belt, she became an award-winning TV editor and producer. However, TeeJ’s true essence shines brightest when she steps onto the stage as a dynamic speaker. Her infectious energy and empowering messages captivate audiences worldwide,
leaving them inspired to think differently and achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Nicknamed “The Red Bull Of Joy,” TeeJ is more than just a speaker; she’s a force of transformation powered by boundless energy. Inspired by her fifth book, “Waiting For Suddenly: 5 Steps To Waterwalk Your Way Into Miracles,” she founded The League Of Extraordinary Waterwalkers, a league of do-gooding visionaries dedicated to being a catalyst for miracles as a force for good.

But TeeJ’s remarkable journey doesn’t stop there. She’s affectionately known as the ‘Godfather’ for founding the Move-In Day Mafia, a nonprofit on a mission to provide dorm room makeovers primarily for HBCU freshmen who have aged out of foster care. As a proud graduate of the premiere HBCU, Howard University, this initiative reflects TeeJ’s deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of young scholars, offering them a support system that leads to a brighter future.

TeeJ awakens daily with one prayer…to be a S.A.P. (Somebody’s Answered Prayer,) spreading joy and inspiration with every step she takes. Her contagious enthusiasm, combined with her storytelling. prowess, empowers individuals to break boundaries, achieve their dreams, make their mark, and. leave a lasting impact on the world.
